When engines are rebuilt with composition head gaskets, deduct about 12 percent for actual compression. |

Cylinder Head Casting Numbers
|
Cylinder head casting numbers can be found
under the valve cover on early heads, between the exhaust ports on
some heads or under the water passage to the intake manifold. The
# 6090 is the Ford code for "cylinder head" it is on all of them and
means nothing.
